A MILK GALLERY PROJECT, in conjunction with 901 Tequila, hosts the New York pop-up of ASYMBOL, an online gallery conceptualized by pro-snowboarder Travis Rice and artist Mike Parillo.
ASYMBOL celebrates legendary image-makers who have defined a lifestyle. The exhibition showcases a collection of iconic photographs and art pieces from the snow, surf and skate worlds that have never before been available to the public for purchase. Each image is offered in a limited-edition run of archival-quality, signed and numbered prints.
“Using paintbrushes and cameras, these artists have given shape and substance to our lifestyles," says Rice. "They have been able to effectively capture the feeling of awe that exists in a single moment in time. ASYMBOL is our way of building a bridge between the highly respected image makers in our cultures and the people who admire their work."
"We handpick the most unforgettable images from the snow, surf, and skate worlds," says Parillo. "These images speak to our hearts, open windows into a deeper experience and dare us to dream. We have made them available for anyone to own and hang on their walls.”
An internationally respected group of artists and photographers including Mike Parillo, Jamie Lynn, Ari Marcopoulos, Scott Lenhardt, Tim Zimmerman, Danny Zapalac, Adam Haynes, Jeff Curtes,
Nick Russian, Mike Blabac, Matt French, Trent Mitchell, Scott Serfas and Chris Brunkhart have contributed work to the show, which also features “I Am Snowboarding” collection of mixed-media
art and photography collaboration pieces inspired by the short, beautiful life of snowboarder Jeff Anderson.

Based in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, but accessible worldwide, ASYMBOL is a high-tech online gallery that provides an unprecedented level of access to the pieces on display, artist and photographer biographies, as well as the story behind each work, as told by those created them.
Pop-up gallery exhibits of physical, framed prints will travel the world to compliment the virtual collection that lives online. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Action
Sports Environmental Coalition (ASEC) and Protect Our Winters (P.O.W.) non-profit organizations.
