RABBITHOLESTUDIO presents "The Puzzle Project, Please Touch!" a solo exhibition featuring the work of R. Wayne Reynolds.

In this body of work, the foundations of each image are from sources ranging from manhole covers in Manhattan crosswalks to rock formations in State Parks. Other textures are lifted from damaged floor tiles in Grand Central Station, a subway ventilation grate, a rusted ice saw blade, a chainsaw pattern left in an oak stump, traction mats on a light rail platform, sections of the side of a Metro North train, and cobblestone at the Cloisters. This raw material was carefully rendered into suggested forms of varying tonalities so that each piece could stand alone or be selected for The Puzzle. They were transformed from what they once were into something new- something suggesting mystery, emotion and energy.
