poster for "Bauhaus Lounge" Exhibition

This event has ended.

Furnished with Bauhaus chairs, tables, couches, and other furniture, this lounge offers visitors a relaxing space to further explore the creative processes of Bauhaus artists. Visitors may consult a wide selection of books and catalogues, and enjoy screenings of documentary films that trace the history and development of the school, including Oskar Schlemmer’s "Triadic Ballet" (1927) and the film of the reconstructions of Schlemmer's "Bauhaus Dances of the 1920s" (1982/84). On Thursdays from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. (except November 26 and December 24 and 31), visitors can play chess on a set designed by Bauhaus sculptor Joseph Hartwig.

Held in conjunction with the exhibition "Bauhaus 1919–1933: Workshops for Modernity."
