Celebrate TOPAZ ARTS' 10th Year on 10/10/10! Whether you're a newcomer to TOPAZ ARTS or have seen the transformations over the years, the event will feature a new look, a new exhibition, an amazing line-up of special guests, poets and performers, and guest DJs! We want to thank you for being part of our first 10 years - join us in celebrating this major milestone!
5-9pm: Benefit Event with food & drinks: $25
featuring special guests & performers:
Opening remarks by Councilmember Jimmy Van Bramer performances by Molissa Fenley & Dancers, Monstah Black, a film short by Todd Richmond literary luminaries Luis H. Francia, Queens Poet Laureate Paolo Javier, Carl Hancock Rux with a dance improvisation by Paz Tanjuaquio, hosted by Christalyn Wright the event opens with a solo exhibition of new paintings by Roy Fowler followed by DecadeDance! with music compilations by guest DJs Bruce Tantum and Niles Ford
