Museum 52 presents a group exhibition of works dealing with particularly familiar, if not iconic, material, content and subjects. The work featured in the show includes sculpture, sound installation, video, drawing and collage.


Sara Greenberger Rafferty's recent solo exhibitions include: The Kitchen, NY; Rachel Uffner Gallery, NY; Sandroni Rey Gallery, LA and P.S.1/MoMA, NY. Rafferty's work has been included in recent group exhibitions at, amongst others, D'Amelio Terras, NY; Guild & Greyshkul, NY; Artist Space, NY; Gagosian Gallery, NY; White Flag Projects, MO; The Portland Institute for Contemporary Art, OR.

Mark Flood lives are works in Texas, where he is included in numerous public collections including: Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas, TX; Menil Collection, Houston, TX; Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Fort Worth, TX and Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, TX. He has exhibited widely for over twenty-five years and is represented in New York by Zach Feuer gallery.

Mads Lynnerup has shown his work at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; The Mori Art Museum, Tokyo; P.S.1, NY; Zacheta National Gallery of Art, Warsaw; LACMA, CA; Kunsthalle Fridericianum, Kassel, Germany and is in the collections of the Blanton Museum of Art, Miami Art Museum, Orange County Museum of Art and the San Jose Museum of Modern Art.

Paul McMahon has been exhibiting for over thirty years. He was included in the Metropolitan Museum's exhibition, The Picture's Generation in 2009. McMahon ran Project Inc in the '70s exhibiting exhibitions and performances by artists such as Dan Graham, James Welling, Matt Mullican and Martha Wilson. McMahon lives and works in Woodstock, NY.

Frank Selby has exhibited internationally, including Museum 52, NY; Victoria Miro, London; Gavlak, Fl; The New Orleans Biannual; Waterworks Art Center, NC. His work is included in public and private collections internationally including the Whitney Museum of American Art.

Stephen Viteillo has an international reputation as a sound based artist. Recent and upcoming exhibitions include Museum 52, New York; the High Line, NY; The Davis Museum, MA; Contemporary Art Museum, Houston, TX and the 2006 Biennale of Sydney. Over the last 20 years he has collaborated with musicians such as Scanner, Pauline Oliveros, Frances-Marie Uitti, Andrew Deutsch and Yasunao Tone and visual artists including Nam June Paik, Tony Oursler, Julie Mehretu and Eder Santos.

Erik Wysocan has an upcoming solo exhibition with Andrea Rosen Gallery, NY in 2011. Exhibitions include the Sculpture Centre, NY; Andrea Rosen Gallery; Socrates Sculpture Park, NY and Brown, London. He lives and works in New York City.
