This event has ended.

Organized by artist/curator William Cordova and writer Rose Oluronke Ojo as part of BASE, a platform for locality, mobilization and education that includes choreographers, writers, visual artists and community activists. The exhibition features new wall sculptures and drawings by Glexis Novoa and Mary A. Valverde and writings by Rose Oluronke Ojo. All three artists will develop site-specific gestures in response to our current global economic landscape. At once ephemeral and stunningly graphic, these new works suggest alternate perspectives often with multicultural origins on how society can consider its past and present and find the value of dual meanings rather than single trajectories that are now economically worn thin.
