Grey Art Gallery
This event has ended.
In this Dean’s Lecture, Fred Myers, Silver Professor and Chair of Anthropology, NYU, will discuss a fundamental predicament of Indigenous acrylic painting in Central Australia: While the artists seek to present their deep understandings of the world, their own protocols are part of a tradition of restricted revelation.
