The figurative sculptures of Lynn Syms represent people drawn from her life and Jewish tradition. A native of New York City, Syms received formal training in space planning and design - a background evident in the formal qualities of her sculpture.
L.T. Syms sculpts the people she admires, those she loves and those she identifies with. Her realistic figurative work tells the story of her life – her love for her family and friends, and the world around her filled with interesting things, people and beauty that is always in motion.
