"Up Close: Henry Darger" Exhibition
American Folk Art Museum
This event has ended.
The American Folk Art Museum will devote an intimate gallery on the fourth floor to rotating exhibitions focusing on a single theme. The first of these will showcase eight of the nearly three hundred watercolors Henry Darger created to illustrate his 15,000-page manuscript "The Story of the Vivian Girls, in what is Known as the Realms of the Unreal, of the Glandeco-Angelinnian War Storm, Caused by the Child Slave Rebellion." Volume 6 of that epic will also be on view.
