This event has ended.

Frank Rivera introduces us to his topsy-turvy world of the visual non-sequitur where there is no distinction between the quotidian and the magical. Employing such disparate references ranging from early renaissance predella panels to the underground pulp comics of the eighties to storyboard graphics and computer art, --and with a dash of Dada thrown in, --Rivera engages, and almost challenges the viewer with his cryptic, enigmatic imagery and narratives. With a truly light sleight of hand, he demonstrates for us that nothing is what it seems to be.
Rivera has shown in many exhibitions in the New York area, including the Whitney Biennial in 1975
