Gallery in The Chelsea 25th area

In a landmark event for the New York and Asian contemporary art communities, Arario Gallery—with branches in Cheonan and Seoul, Korea, and Beijing, China—will open a fourth gallery in New York City’s Chelsea gallery district on November 10, 2007. Presenting work by world-renowned and emerging Asian contemporary artists, with a focus on China, India, and Korea, Arario Gallery has proven itself a leader in the field, mounting major surveys like Hungry God – Indian Contemporary Art and ABSOLUTE IMAGES – Chinese Contemporary Art and Zeitgeist, both benchmarks in exhibitions devoted to the work of Asian artists. With its new space in New York, Arario Gallery will present the explosive creative spirit of Asia that is being celebrated in many of the artists’ home countries to a Western audience through similarly significant group and solo exhibitions. Located at 521 West 25th Street, Second Floor with a dedicated streetfront entrance, Arario Gallery New York is designed by acclaimed contemporary architect David Adjaye.
