Espeis was built by the founding members of studio Commonwealth anticipating a need for an open area to test full-scale architectural work. But with time, the designers trained in Architecture, realized that they wanted to stay.
The foundational series which set the tone for the gallery, was the “Vs. series”- a display of mergers and alliances between the digital design disciplines. It combined digital product techniques of studio Commonwealth with precision of graphic and motion design of 5 leading graphic artists.
