Guild & Greyshkul

Gallery in The Soho area

Guild & Greyshkul was founded by Anya Kielar, Sara VanDerBeek, and Johannes VanDerBeek, three young artists, who sought to create a venue in which to engage their peers and the larger community. Guild & Greyshkul was opened in September 2003 at 22 Wooster Street with an exhibition space on the ground floor and studios beneath.

In January 2005, Guild & Greyshkul moved to 28 Wooster Street in order to expand both the exhibition space and the operations of the gallery. Now within its fifth season, Guild & Greyshkul continues to strive towards an exhibition program that is rigorous and diverse yet representative of the community from which it began.
