Skarstedt Gallery was founded in 1994 by Per Skarstedt to mount historical exhibitions of the Contemporary American and European artists that had become the core of his specialty as a private dealer and gallerist in Stockholm, Sweden and New York City in the late 1980's and early 1990's.
