Black & White (Williamsburg)
Gallery in The Williamsburg area
Black & White Gallery's mission is to cultivate promising artists in the initial and more advanced phases of their careers exploring contemporary themes and concepts through multiple mediums.
Black & White Gallery premiered on September 20, 2002 at 483 Driggs Avenue in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, NY. On June 21, 2006 Black & White Gallery opened its second location in Chelsea on the ground floor of the Chelsea Terminal Warehouse at 636 West 28th Street.
In addition to developing its core program in Chelsea, BWG continues to present ambitious site-specific work at its original Williamsburg location, in both the indoor and outdoor spaces.
Black & White Gallery (Williamsburg) is the only indoor-outdoor exhibition space in the New York Metropolitan area specifically dedicated to experimental and innovative developments in contemporary multimedia site-specific installations. BWG commissions new work and presents exhibits by emerging national and international artists whose work has not been seen in New York.
