Gallery in The Chelsea 22nd area

Meulensteen gallery launched in September 2010- Max Protetch relaunch under the new name. The move followed its 2009 purchase by Dutch collector and patron Edwin Meulensteen, and the retirement by founder and namesake Max Protetch. The gallery maintained its roster of artists and senior staff, and continues its emphasis on contemporary art, architectural renderings and Chinese contemporary art.

The relaunch coincided with a major renovation to the lighting and acoustics of the gallery space. The lower level viewing areas have also received a complete overhaul, including the addition of a screening room.
