Sahlman Helwaser Art Gallery (S H A G)

Gallery in The Upper East Side area

Add this to my venues

After over a year of searching, Peter Scott S. Sahlman and Antoine Helwaser finally found a great space in one of the top gallery buildings in Chelsea. They decided to join forces and open a cutting edge contemporary gallery to launch the careers of emerging artists.

Sahlman and Helwaser have built their professional careers in the art world by specializing in secondary market dealing. Now they are excited to discover and promote the work of progressive multimedia artists hidden in Brooklyn and beyond. In this first year, S H A G plans to present a combination of contemporary New York-based and internationally talented artists from Europe, Latin America and Asia.
