Brooklyn-based art worker, co-founder of NYArtBeat.com, she manages the listings and the blog from her living-room, sharing the work/dining table with her partner and the floor with their infant daughter. Studied Biology as an undergraduate, then Film Studies as a graduate student, she started learning and writing about art when living in Tokyo, where she contributed to Tokyo Art Beat and the Japan Times. A photographer and videographer, she's been an avid documentarian of her life as @perke.
