‘Catwalk 24’ - a private runway performance that preceded the opening of Sylvie Fleury’s solo exhibition ‘Just Jacuzzi’ - with each painting carried by a model down the runway and hung on a single nail. In defiance of the fashion industry’s emphasis on individual expression, all models are styled in matching outfits, and the paintings closely resemble those created 15 years ago. The installation mirrors a performance that originally occurred in Paris in 2008 at Thaddeus Ropac Gallery.
