Postmasters Gallery presents the first spearhead innovative physical NFT exhibition of its kind, Non-Fungible Bodies: modified, adorned, digitized curated by Danielle Paterson and featuring New York based multimedia artists and designers Araya, Julia Brunson, Gregory Coscia, John Novotny, Emily Omesi, Haley Peacock, and Murrie Rosenfeld. This group of artists are all recent graduates from NYC’s art schools including the Fashion Institute of Technology, Parsons School of Design, School of Visual Arts, and Pratt Institute. The exhibition will be on view from Sunday August 22nd until Wednesday August 25th 2021, with an opening reception on Sunday August 22nd from 3-7pm, with a musical performance by Araya at 6pm.

Nonfungible Bodies: modified, adorned, digitized features a group of artists and designers exploring ideas of the body and its paths of decoration, expression, and identity, mixing digital ownership with offline artworks. The show will present works that reach outside of traditional and familiar art forms and forms of delivery, utilizing Postmasters custom blockchain technology as a physical response to the rise in artworks as non-fungible tokens. Non-Fungible Bodies focuses on the new generation of emerging artists who are working across physical and digital processes, often informing each other and in relation to their communities. Artworks are responsive to digital trends, and in this exhibition they engage the online society through paths of self expression including virtual fashion, experimental accessories, hyper digitized music, and body modifications. Artworks are available for purchase with cryptocurrency, with available pieces ranging from unique digital files and garments, physical artworks with digital and bodily components, and exclusive editioned music.
