This event has ended.

Court Tree Collective and Collision Projects present Passage a site specific sculpture by Stephen Talasnik. Well known for his atmospheric drawings. Talasnik has spent the last decade cultivating outdoor landscapes made from wood, reed, and bamboo. Having regularly exhibited both domestically and abroad, Passage is his first New York City ephemeral installation in over a decade. Inspired by glaciers, viewers will have the opportunity to walk through the sculpture.

Originally from Philadelphia, Talasnik’s drawings are featured in public collections like the Pompidou in Paris; the Albertina in Vienna; the British Museum, London; the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, and the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC. He is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (BFA), and the Tyler School of Art (MFA).
His installations have exhibited at Storm King Art Center; The Russel Wright Design Center, Mantoga; Tippet Rise Art Center, Montana; and he will participate in the Curitiba Biennial in Brazil 2023 with the three installations at the Oscar Niemeyer Museum.
