Ground Floor

Greene Naftali presents Pearl Lines, Walter Price’s debut solo exhibition with the gallery. The exhibition will be on view in the ground floor gallery space and includes recent paintings and drawings. A catalogue published on the occasion of the exhibition reproduces a selection of the drawings on view, taken from the artist’s portfolio from his 2019 residency at the Füstenberg Contemporary held at the Heiligenberg Castle.

Walter Price (b. 1989, Macon, Georgia) lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. Recent solo exhibitions include the Aspen Art Museum, Aspen (2019); MoMA PS1, New York (2018); Kölnischer Kunstverein, Cologne (2018); The Modern Institute, Glasgow (2018); and Karma, New York (2016). Recent group exhibitions include the Whitney Biennial, curated by Jana Panetta and Rujeko Hockley, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York (2019); FRONT International: Cleveland Triennial for Contemporary Art, MOCA Cleveland, Cleveland (2018); The Studio Museum in Harlem, New York (2017); and LUMA Foundation, Zurich (2017). His work is included in the collection of the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, among others.
