Lichtundfire welcomes everyone back with the exhibit When Night Falls featuring 10 artists from across the U.S. and Brazil working in painting, sculpture, digital and mixed media. Curators Robert Curcio, curcioprojects, and Priska Juschka, Lichtundfire, explore what transpires, of awe and wonder, between dusk and dawn. It is the ambiguity of the night that inspires artists to seek it out.

The luminosity of Arlene Santana’s abstract minimal paintings capture the mystery of the twilight hours. A recent recipient of a Gottlieb Artist Grant, Ms. Santana’s passionate, color panels interact with ambient light to create an ever-changing experience of pigment and texture.
