Allison Zuckerman’s exhibition “Paper Doll” will open at Kravets Wehby Gallery January 9, 2020. In this new body of work, recently published in Vogue Italia’s November 2019 issue, Allison Zuckerman interprets the yet-to-be-released clothing line from Louis Vuitton. These paintings introduce elements of fashion into her work. Zuckerman’s work explores how painting simultaneously collaborates and competes with the digital world, while demonstrating the role of women in art history: both as subject and as maker.
