This event has ended.

During the last couple of years, Micaela de Vivero has been exploring the use of color in her installation work. Based on the premise that color deceives continually, she has been creating artworks, that experiment with and explore technique and affect by using colored fibers to create installations that challenge relationships between space and the viewers, and between materials and their structures.

In “And on a windy day it got caught on a tree” Vivero explores how her identity as an immigrant in the US is defined by living in the rural American midwest.
