Lower East Side Printshop presents Constructed Sites / Unfamiliar Selves guest curated by Jenny Gerow.

This exhibition features work by five artists: Claudia Cortínez , Sarah Faux, Asuka Goto, Naomi Nakazato, and Padma Rajendran. Artificial or fragmented spaces allow for these artists to explore the notions of the self in relation to a place, whether real or imagined.

Jenny Gerow is the Curator of Contemporary Art at BRIC, a not-for-profit cross disciplinary organization based in Downtown Brooklyn that presents and incubates work by New York based artists. Gerow graduated with an MA in Art History from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a BA in Literature from the University of Virginia. She has previously held positions at the International Center of Photography and the Detroit Institute of Arts.
