Akin to sports without rules, Body Hobbies are best defined as a set of experiences completed with one’s body for personal satisfaction. With a gentle shove, artists Luke Seward, River Soma, Jeanne Ciravolo and Melanie Klimjack amble towards collision as they wrestle with painting, sculpture and video. An imperative under duress, Body Hobbies resist coordination, in favor of action in material form.
