Jamaica Center for Arts and Learning (JCAL) presents a solo exhibition by Southeast Queens-based artist Emmett Wigglesworth.

He has completed a new series of 3-D large-scale pieces entitled, “Jazz…Rhythm & Blues… Gospel Music… to make you see…with notes from a trip around the world.” The pieces are life-sized painted foam core sculptures, installed in front of a 10ft painting to give the viewer an experience along with the music that shaped his journey through the decades and the world. In the over 40 artworks represented, Wigglesworth aims to use his artistic abilities as a vehicle of spiritual truth and as a means to counter a concerned society, to enhance a more humanistic world.
