This event has ended.

Half Gallery presents Bad Lucky Indian, Natalie Ball’s first solo exhibition in New York. Her art engages proposals of refusal, complicating easily affirmed and consumable narratives and identities without absolutes. Ball defines herself as Black, Modoc and Klamath and lives on her ancestral homelands in Oregon with her family. Natalie Ball is currently in the group exhibition In Practice: Other Objects at Sculpture Center (NY) through March 25th, 2019. In April, Ball will have a solo exhibition at the Seattle Art Museum, as the 2018 Betty Bowen Award winner. Ball graduated from Yale’s Painting MFA program in Spring 2018.
