Janiva Ellis lives and works between New York and Los Angeles. She has had solo exhibitions at 47 Canal, New York and Arcadia Missa, London. Ellis’ recent institutional exhibitions include the 2019 Whitney Biennial, Whitney Museum of American Art, New York and the 2018 New Museum Triennial, New Museum, New York. She was awarded the 2018 Rema Hort Mann Foundation Grant, and the 2018 Stanley Hollander Award. Janiva Ellis is represented by 47 Canal, New York.
