This group exhibition explores the nature of inner life through three main themes: introspection, intimacy, and voyeurism. Focused upon the ways in which we reflect on ourselves and others, the works on view capture moments of gentle privacy and voyeuristic intrusion, with each addressing the power of observation. The artists featured in ‘Personal Private Public’ are connected by an interest in probing the uneasy relationship between making and viewing images, often exploring timely themes of identity, sexuality, and performance.
