Alberetti‘s recent works explore the elemental forms of nature. Whether traveling on the rivers in Europe or working at home in Connecticut with preliminary sketches and watercolors, he seeks expressions of mass and form, light and dark. His abstract paintings are sometimes active, physical and intense, sometimes mellow and serene, and always eloquent.
