Trestle Gallery presents our 2019 Residency Exhibition. Every year, Artists-in-Residence are invited to showcase their work in a group exhibition. This year, we are excited to feature: John Armstrong, Omer Ben-Zvi, Michael Boring, Celeste Cebra, Fiona Chinkan, Julia DePinto, Alex Dolores Salerno, Hank Ehrenfried, Carmen Entius, Jordyn Fishman, Kevin Frech, Harley Grieco, Valerie Hallier, Benna Holden, Alyssa Klauer, Liz Langer, Elizabeth Lewin, Dario Mohr, Jennifer Prevatt, Jordan Segal, Michelle Selwa, Isabella Cortez Steele, Suzanne Stroebe, Khalif Thompson, Elizabeth Tolson, and Sarah Valeri.

The exhibition is curated by Krista Scenna, independent curator and founder of Ground Floor Gallery in Brooklyn. Regarding the exhibition, Krista states, “As a gallery owner and independent curator who has worked with emerging artists for over 10 years, I was thrilled to be invited to curate Trestle Gallery’s upcoming Residency Exhibition: an exciting platform that advocates and debuts local talents in contemporary art! I am so proud to be involved with a community that provides dedicated, unparalleled mentorship and exhibition opportunities to emerging artists in all media who simply need a professional boost and opportunity to make new work and wholeheartedly embrace their role as an artist in the New York City art world. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the various perspectives, concerns and techniques of the artists-in-residence in this show and was so impressed with the range of painting, sculpture, new and mixed-media that they’ve been experimenting with and are excited to present to you now. I feel fortunate that they shared their new work with me and that I have played an integral role in introducing them to a new audience!”
