This the second solo exhibition of works by Indian print-maker Soghra Khurasani. A series of 8 small format woodcuts accompanied by their woodblocks, SKIN traces an intimate arc between the marks made on human bodies and those impacted on nature and land. The artist’s first series in the wake of a two year maternity recess, SKIN is informed by the rupture and healing of membranes, especially as pertains to pregnancy and childbirth. The artist will be present at the opening.
