Tony Kaye, the British artist, musician, and director famous for American History X, is exhibiting a series of paintings at his first solo art show in NYC called “The Walls of the Mountain.”

Known for his quirky persona, Tony definitely marches to the beat of his own drum and his work for this show will not be any different. The art for the show will tell a story about Tony feeling trapped in Hollywood Jail (an image of one of the paintings for the show below) which Tony touched on this theme in his performance/poem “The Hell of Compromise,” that you can watch here: Video link.
