“Fritz St. Jean: Narrating the Haitian Story”, a solo exhibition of selected works created by renowned Haitian artist Fritz St Jean, is to be shown from August 13th - 29th, 2018. Fritz St Jean (1954 – 2017) was a visionary artist whose work was inspired by his native country, Haiti. This exhibition will explore St Jean’s mastery of detailed painting and use of bold acrylic paint on canvas to comment on the complex challenges that Haitians face while celebrating Haiti’s dynamic history and culture.
