Yossi Milo Gallery presents Volta Photo, the first United States gallery exhibition of West African photographer Sanlé Sory (Burkinabe, b. 1943). Coinciding with a major solo exhibition at The Art Institute of Chicago, the show features over 90 photographs taken between the 1960-1980s in the artist’s Bobo-Dioulasso studio.
A preview of the exhibition may be found on our new website. In celebration of Sory’s debut show, Yossi Milo Gallery and Tezeta have released Studio Volta Photo, a signed, limited edition book available in a small run of 500 copies.
