Baxter St at CCNY presents a multifaceted community program facilitated initially through a booth at the San Gennaro Festival from September 13th-23rd and later as an exhibition at 128 Baxter St. The booth, located on Hester Street between Mulberry and Mott Streets, will be open throughout the period of the festival, every day from 3-11pm. Fair attendees can have their portraits taken in front of one of 6 custom backdrops created by emerging lens-based artists at part of our Guest Curated Exhibition Program. These backdrops will also be on view in an exhibition at our 128 Baxter St location in December 2018. Baxter St at CCNY takes pride in being a good neighbor; through this program we aim to participate among our fellow community members and neighbors to support a long standing tradition of community and culture.
