“Home” Exhibition

This event has ended.

In the exhibition Home, young artists from the CUE Teen Collective define what home means to them. All of the artists still live with their parents in New York City. Some artists take a more concrete geographic approach that showcases places that feel like home to them, while other artists explore the more abstract meanings of home by examining the sacred comfort and private feelings that they associate with their homes. Other artworks explore the identities that arise from a shared space, whether sharing an apartment with siblings and parents or sharing your life with your friends and finding a piece of Home in moments with them. This exhibition showcases the efforts of the CUE Teen Collective, and marks the conclusion of their time in the collective over the 2017-2018 term.
