Kneeslappa (Sarah Keane) was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. And is currently a working Illustrator & Designer in New York City. Living in an ever changing metropolis, her attention to detail, especially sound is prevalent. Influenced heavily by Jazz & Hip Hop, the music of her youth, she incorporates the musicality and fluidity of urban life, especially the characters who pulsate her environment. Regular people and their everyday movements, and the fabric, which is the city, that holds it all in place.
