“In Both Sides, several diptychs compare two spaces: the beaches of San Diego (United States) and of Tijuana (Mexico) separated by a wall. On each side of this physical border, I searched out correspondences and differences of these geographically continuous spaces. This comparison inaugurates a series of reflections, spawning realizations that play at the edge of this unsettling frontier.”
