John Molloy Gallery presents an exhibition of paintings by world renowned artist Eun Nim Ro.

Eun Nim Ro is an artist who has courageously left behind the familiar and successfully found a new dynamic voice in painting through her keen perceptions and deep examination of the natural world. The ever-constant flux and changes she observes in plants, animals and people have taken her expressive efforts to a level of confrontation, acceptance and creation which are both fiercely independent and vibrant.

Ms. Ro, who left her native South Korea in 1970 in a quest to find her own sense of freedom, has been living and working in Germany for decades. The work is astonishingly original. Her intensely focused vision, informed by an animistic and primal spirit, is both delightful and engaging. The artist’s interpretation of the natural world is colorful, truthful, filled with a sense of wonder, and at times, even ominous.
