This event has ended.

CMA presents Scale: Possibilities of Perspective, an exhibition that explores the notion of scale and its ability to alter our impressions of the universe and our existence inside it. Highlighting the work of Renate Aller, Christopher Boffoli, Sally Curcio, Zaria Forman, Patrick Jacobs, Peggy Preheim, Bobbie Russon, Diana Shpungin, Shahzia Sikander, and Dustin Yellin, Scale encourages visitors to interact with artworks that expand or reduce the objects and environments that surround us.

The concept of scale is explored from multiple perspectives, drawing visitors in as they become mindful of the layered beauty, content, and techniques of each piece. This exhibition includes sculptures, photographs, dioramas, drawings, and installations, and ranges in subject matter from highly exaggerated, whimsical environments, to sentimental reflections. From Bobbie Russon’s miniature portrait paintings, to Christopher Boffoli’s miniature figurines humorously navigating a world made of food, to Dustin Yellin’s three-dimensional collage formed from layered glass, Scale will transport you to another moment in time and space.
