why did you look up to me? i only ever looked across at you, is a collection of images and objects that make lines from poetry tactile. Willing to plunge into the mysteries of inter-personal connections, the work balances text and physical material to relive, redeem or re-imagine past events.

Victoria Ahmadizadeh is a multi-disciplinary artist investigating the intersection of language and seeing. She holds an MFA in Craft/Material Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University and a BFA in Glass from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. Victoria currently lives in Philadelphia, where she teaches at Tyler School of Art and The University of the Arts.
