Liz Luisada “Find Your Way”
Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery
This event has ended.
Listen to your cunt
Listen to your quim
What’s her mood today?
Listen to your body
Let your heart show you the way.
Listen the the earth
There are landscapes inside
We are strong
Listen to the mountains
Wait at the shores
Look Inside
Guardians are there
Demons not to be ignored
You can do it!
There is creation
Holding
Surrendering
A web we make
Our shapes make ripples
Radiate the spectrum
Let it in, put it out
Klaus von Nichtssagend Gallery presents an exhibition by Liz Luisada, featuring a series of watercolors on handmade paper.
On Saturday, June 2nd, Liz Luisada is offering readings from her Shapes Deck, an oracle card deck she created some years ago and has been working with ever since. The shapes deck is similar to a tarot deck, it can be used to gain insight into life situations or read the basic energies underlying an issue. Unlike the tarot, the Shapes Deck does not have suits or arcanas, but follows it’s own logic and structure using the energetic qualities of shapes and colors. A reading usually consists of drawing three cards and then a few further cards for clarification if necessary. Quarrents (the people getting the reading) are encouraged to take a photo of their reading for further reflection.
Liz Luisada lives and works in Carbondale, PA. She holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. Her work has been reviewed in the New York Times.
