Equity Gallery presents the Members Invitational, an annual juried group exhibition featuring the work of Artists Equity members.
The 10 artists selected for the Members Invitational are Audree Anid, Esperanza Cortes, Jaynie Crimmins, Monica Delgado, Katya Grokhovsky, Zac Hacmon, Ariel Mitchell, Judith Mullen, Janice Sloane and Ilene Sunshine. The exhibition will feature sculpture, video, prints and painting.
The work was selected by jurors— Eileen Jeng, Independent Curator, Writer and Art Consultant, RxArt; Benjamin Sutton, Art Critic, Journalist and Curator, Hyperallergic; and Dexter Wimberly, Curator, Executive Director, Aljira Contemporary Art Center.
In this annual exhibition we celebrate New York Artists Equity Association’s history of 70 years by highlighting the artworks of its current members. Artists Equity was founded by over 160 prominent American artists and continues to be a strong organization for artists today.
