Printed Matter opens a new group exhibition, Something Unusual is Happening: Experimental Comics and the Art of Visual Narrative, featuring an array of comics, zines, posters, and prints, as well as original sketches and other works-in-process. The collected works are interested in exploring visual language that departs from the traditional formats and narratives of comic art. With publications from more than dozen artists, including Lale Westvind, Char Esme, Alexis Beauclair, Jesse Fillingham, and others.
