Pace Prints presents two concurrent exhibitions of important prints and multiples by Louise Nevelson and Jean Dubuffet.

The exhibition at Pace Prints’ 57th Street gallery includes Dubuffet’s Le Tétrascopique (1971), a sculptural multiple in screenprinted, vacuum-formed polystyrene. Also on view is a monumental screenprint on canvas, Site de Mémoire III (1979) and the collage-like screenprint portfolio Faits Mémorables (1978).

Louise Nevelson’s signature jet black totem The Dark Ellipse (1974), a cast resin sculpture, will be exhibited along with her figurative etchings from the 1950s and later abstract etchings, Aquatint Portfolio (1973).

The exhibition at Pace Prints’ 26th Street gallery will feature Dubuffet’s colorful figurative screenprint portfolio, Présences Fugaces (1973) in addition to the large scale screen print on canvas, Site de Mémoire II. Louise Nevelson’s geometric cast paper pulp prints will be included in the exhibition in addition to her lead intaglio prints from 1973 and cast resin multiple, City-Sunscape (1979).
