“I took up street photography during visits to Paris in the 1970‘s, inspired by how Boubat, Doisneau, Kertesz and others captured the humor, sadness, beauty and irony of daily life. Certain narrative threads emerge naturally, reflecting the way people interact with each other and their surroundings. Eyes, body language, juxtaposition to inanimate objects — all convey a host of emotions and intentions, with story lines that speak to the nature of both photographer and subject.” - Jim Lustenader
