Smack Mellon presents solo exhibitions by Linda Herritt and Shanti Grumbine.

Herritt’s Grease Rust Soot Sweat is a monumental installation based on a portion of Buckminster Fuller’s list of impactful inventions.The text-based piece exists as a three-dimensional diagram, undulating off Smack Mellon’s largest wall.

Grumbine’s Zeroing consists of intricate cut-paper works, silkscreens, and sculptures. The title refers to the recalibration of value as well as the action of aiming a gun at a target.
